About Yu-na

Yu-na is a local project based in Tsuwano, Shimane Prefecture—a historic castle town often called "Little Kyoto of San'in." We create opportunities for travelers and locals to connect through unique cultural experiences.
Behind Yu-na is a desire to help more people get to know and love Tsuwano, not just through sightseeing but by engaging with its people, traditions, and everyday life. Our programs are thoughtfully designed with local residents, artisans, and cultural stewards to showcase what makes Tsuwano special.
From guided cycling tours exploring the landscapes depicted in the Tsuwano Hyakkeizu (a set of 100 scenic illustrations), to early morning treks followed by a traditional breakfast, each experience invites you to slow down and appreciate the richness of local life.
